Pretty much The Social Network, but for BlackBerry!
The story of global warming told via a comet
The army's giving it all that, and it's down to two twenty-somethings to stop them
They have to restart the sun!
Man searches for lost daughter via Windows XP
Basically just porn for 2 hours
Man discovers the colour pink, and gets weird with it
Real sweet film about what's going on inside your noggin
A film that was meant to be about Banksy, is now Banksy's film about an insane "artist"
This time, uncle Ben doesn't die
I always forget how funny this film is. I mean yeah, it's just great from start to finish.
Shakespeare isn’t all he seems
Somali pirate becomes captain
GameStop money, diamond hands story!
There's like a sorcerer, and a tower, and a man with a gun. I don't really know what the point was tbh
Mute cleaner gets freaky with sea monster
A dramatisation of the Stanford prison experiment
An alien exists, and then they spend an hour trying to take a picture of it
Not a bad film; I thought the lore and plot was lacking quite a bit in this film to be honest. You can pretty much clock what's going to happen within the first 15 minutes. They didn't really build on the rest of the universe much in this film either so it ended up being quite average IMO.
Lady tries her first sex worker
The afterlife isn't all it's cracked up to be
A very crafty Japanese lord is trying to avoid getting destroyed by 4 other crafty lords. In the middle of all of this, a foreigner has landed in Japan and is trying to figure out what's going on. Season 1 had a bit of an anticlimactic ending IMO, but we'll see where season 2 goes!
A deep dive into how confidence and not much else can make you billions of dollars
Quite a harrowing recounting of the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl
Billionaires make money and get chased by the law. Sadly took a real dip in season six.
It's more Star Wars, but good!
Pretty spooky house causes issues for a family, very twisty turny
A show where Jeremy Clarkson is somewhat bearable
A pretty solid adaptation of the video game series! I think the story could do with fleshing out, and the characters were a bit overly Flanderised, but overall a decent start!
The ladies sure are having a rough time of it
A young couple try to adopt a kid, speedbumps occur
"A day in the life of an American office, with an awful boss"
Standard sit-com comfort food. Great show!
It's sort of a day-in-the-life type show that's just following and observing what a character called Ray gets up to. He's a hardened criminal, but he's still got a kid and a brother to look after. Really great show from start to finish with some great standout episodes.
It's friends
Just an incredible show, watch it
Kind of taking "wage slaves" to the next level
An arms dealer sells arms, he's the bad guy. Then a hotel night manager comes to the rescue? The premise is a bit silly but it's full of well known English actors so manages to be somewhat compelling. Not sure where they're going with season 2 though...
Graphic designer goes to mars to work on the new frontier, and immediately gets fired
This could have been much better I think. Them both being spies with seemingly independent motives made it very hard to tell at which points, if any, either character was being sincere. You basically didn't know what either character really thought until the last episode, which is a bit lame. Also there wasn't enough spy stuff.

Quite an interesting take on first contact, alongside some social commentary I likely didn’t fully understand.
Easily the most depressing book I've ever read. It takes post-apocalyptic to a whole new level. There aren't fun little gangs and societies just trying to get by. Everything is gone, they can't even find new shoes, let alone food. Really bleak.
The first intro to the Ultramarines, and the Thousand Sons, two pretty neat factions.
Things are kicking off, everybody's gone to war with everybody, and all of the main characters are splintered in every direction. Let's see how the next book goes!
The first story on Terra where we get more insights into what the endgame looks like for the oncoming war. Everybody dies of course, but a fun story.
Another collection of short stories; I remember these being really funny. "Eternal Flame", the story about the doppler is great. "A Little Sacrifice", the story with the mermaid, also great. The dialog took a huge step up from the first book.
We're following Corvus Corax and the The Raven Guard this time round, just after the dropsite massacre. This book was frustrating because you want them to win, and they kind of do but it's very bittersweet. I really wish the Alpha Legion would just go away
It did a great job of putting into words what I suspect most people think. Giving phones to kids at a young age, and coddling them from real world play, and risk, has disastrous effects on their mental health. I'd highly recommend this book for any expectant parent, I think it would drastically change how you raise you kids.
Horus is pretty chill, we take a planet or two, chaos exists but it ain't no thang!
I'm starting to think that humans are not the good guys in this series. We're following Fulgrim in this book as the name suggests; he's making some... interesting decisions
We meet the Alpha Legion, who aren't really like the other 40k legions. They seem to use secrecy more than anything else which makes this book quite twisty turny.
Horus has lost all semblance of chill, I now understand why it's called the Horus Heresy
This heresy business sure is complicated. It's becoming very difficult to know who the good and bad guys are in this thing.
A collection of short stories with Geralt and Dandelion; the stories are all pretty good, but this was one of the first things Andrzej wrote, so it's not his best work.
We’re jumping to the aftermath of the Caliban chapter, Descent of Angels. The book is super fun because it follows Zahariel and the Lion in tandem, and they're both great stories!
A really interesting insight into the place I've chosen to work. It essentially tells a New Zealanders story of how she wanted to change the world and saw Facebook as a rising political power. It details Zuck's foray into politics, having previously been uninterested to apparently wanting to run for president. Super interesting story; doesn't instil me with much confidence for Meta's future, I'll say that much.
Basically book 3 from the perspective of the Death Guard, and then a little after that. Bottom line - this chaos stuff is becoming a real problem
Pretty cool insight into the Space Wolves and how they work. We get to see their side of Magnus getting his shit rocked.
A fun collection of short stories; some insights into what happened on Isstvan V
Really interesting look at where the heresy series spawned from. Following the word bearers this time and seeing how the very first spark kicked off the rest of the heresy.
