A very crafty Japanese lord is trying to avoid getting destroyed by 4 other crafty lords. In the middle of all of this, a foreigner has landed in Japan and is trying to figure out what's going on. Season 1 had a bit of an anticlimactic ending IMO, but we'll see where season 2 goes!

League of legends without the worst part of League of Legends - the players

They made the Truman Show for one guy. He gets invited to jury duty, but literally everybody he interacts with is an actor. It's massively wholesome, would definitely recommend.

It's a TV adaptation of what happens after the film. I really love the aesthetic, and world building in this series, would definitely recommend!

It's more Star Wars, but good!

It's sort of a day-in-the-life type show that's just following and observing what a character called Ray gets up to. He's a hardened criminal, but he's still got a kid and a brother to look after. Really great show from start to finish with some great standout episodes.

A pretty great adaptation to television from the movie. The characters were pretty well developed, but I think the plot maybe leant a bit too heavily on the movie, it made this season fairly predictable. Will keep an eye out for season 2 though!

The first season was very very good, but the second hasn't quite lived up to it. Hopefully season 3 picks up the stakes!

Basement nerds get up to no good

Exactly what it sounds like

I'm not sure if the title is meant to be read sarcastically, but these people are having a tough time

They've really cracked the formula for addictive watching with this. Once a game starts you want to see how it ends, then another starts before the episode ends, and you end up watching the next, and the next, etc

It was all downhill from here for James Corden

Nice lil British drama about two peeps having a kid

Pretty standard revenge plot with a samurai and a few companions. Pretty great animation.

One of the most wholesome shows on TV that kinda started getting high on its own supply near the end IMO

Shenanigans in a hedge fund

A pretty solid adaptation of the video game series! I think the story could do with fleshing out, and the characters were a bit overly Flanderised, but overall a decent start!

An extremely familiar premise, but this time with Obi-Wan

An arms dealer sells arms, he's the bad guy. Then a hotel night manager comes to the rescue? The premise is a bit silly but it's full of well known English actors so manages to be somewhat compelling. Not sure where they're going with season 2 though...

Community service peeps get into even more trouble

Billionaires make money and get chased by the law. Sadly took a real dip in season six.

Season 2 definitely picked up a bit; it's basically following a trial and seeing who ends up being guilty. Season 1 didn't give a definitive answer to what actually happened, but season 2 did. Decent cast all round too

This could have been much better I think. Them both being spies with seemingly independent motives made it very hard to tell at which points, if any, either character was being sincere. You basically didn't know what either character really thought until the last episode, which is a bit lame. Also there wasn't enough spy stuff.

I learned a bit more about far right movements in the UK from this, but the story itself is a bit bland. There's a group, it gets infiltrated, he gets them banged up. Not too many twists or turns here

Pretty average airplane drama/thriller with some geopolitical mystery peppered into the mix. It wasn't anything special IMO, but not bad. Richard Armitage is always fun to watch.

Graphic designer goes to mars to work on the new frontier, and immediately gets fired

People can't see, and some children are born who can. This started extremely solid, but quickly turned into an action flick with Jason Momoa as the lead. It was fine, but it could have been much much better

An accountant get's way in over his head, and then his wife says "hold my beer". The ending ruined it IMO

Police, corruption, straight copping. Shit ending

One of the best shows ever made... right up until the last two seasons
